Maryland ABLE: Making Savings Attainable for People with Disabilities

Harford County Office of Disability Services is hosting a Maryland ABLE Savings Account Workshop for people with disabilities and their families, caregivers, and community providers. The first hour will be presented both in person and virtually and will include an overview of ABLE legislation, how an ABLE account helps to create financial stability, and the specific features and tax benefits of having a Maryland ABLE. The second hour is reserved for individuals who wish to enroll during the workshop. The event will be held at TUNE (Towson University Northeast) Center located at 510 Thomas Run Rd, Bel Air. Once you are ready to enroll, you can set up your account here online. When opening a Maryland ABLE account, make sure you have ready identifying information about the beneficiary, the qualifying disability, and how the ABLE account will be funded.
