Two New Features Available for Maryland ABLE Prepaid Cardholders

Maryland ABLE Prepaid cardholder can now take advantage of two new features that have recently gone live:

Manage Prepaid Card with True Link Financial Mobile App

Maryland ABLE account holders with smartphones now have the ability to use the True Link Financial mobile app for their ABLE Visa® Prepaid Cards!

With the True Link Financial app, users can:

  • View available ABLE Visa Card balance

  • Review recent transaction history

  • See declined transaction explanations in real-time, detailing why their transaction attempt was not completed

  • Make real-time adjustments to spending settings that determine where the card can be used to make purchases

The app is available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store under the name “True Link Financial.”

Set Spending Limits

Card administrators will now be able to set daily, weekly, or monthly spending limits that align with the cardholder’s needs.

If a cardholder reaches their limit, transactions will be declined until the next period begins. You can remove or edit the spending limit at any time.

Sign Up and Start Saving

Once you are ready to enroll, you can set up your account here online. When opening a Maryland ABLE account, make sure you have ready identifying information about the beneficiary, the qualifying disability, and how the ABLE account will be funded.
