Sign-in updates are underway

We are excited to let you know that your account login experience is being updated on April 6, 2024! While you may notice some visual changes, you can still expect the easy-to-use portal and tools you need to manage your accounts.

Account owners can sign in on or after April 6, 2024, and update their login and security settings, if needed.

How this will affect you

  • Our login URLs have changed, so you will need to update any bookmarks you may have saved.

  • You will be required to set up multi-factor authentication to ensure the security of your account.

  • If you have another ABLE Savings, 529 College Savings, or State Auto-IRA account administered by Vestwell, you will now see all of these accounts in the same place when you first log in.

  • If you have a Vestwell 401(k) account through your employer, you will need to use the login credentials associated with your Vestwell 401(k) account to access your dashboard and will see all of your accounts in one place when you first log in.

If you have a Vestwell 401(k) account through your employer, you will need to use the login credentials associated with your Vestwell 401(k) account to access your dashboard. If you are still unable to access your account, you can reset your password here.

Where can I change my password or set up multi-factor authentication?

After you log in, select “Security Center” from the dropdown menu next to your profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen. You can also go to your profile and select the “Open Security Center” button next to “Login settings”. Once in the Security Center, you can make any necessary changes to your login credentials.

How do I set up multi-factor authentication?

Once you enter your login email address and password, you will be prompted to set up multi-factor authentication. Follow the prompts and select your preferred method (authenticator app or phone number) to receive a security code. After you have entered the security code, you will be able to access your dashboard.

If you previously had multi-factor authentication send the code to your email address, you will need to select a new method to receive your security code.

Do I need to download an authenticator app to access my account?

No. if you do not want to download the authenticator app, you can provide your phone number to receive your security code by either voice call or SMS text message. However, the authentication app is our recommended method because it is more secure.

We highly recommend that organizations with multiple Agents managing accounts for their clients use an authenticator app.

What if I am unable to receive a security code by voice call or SMS text message?

If you cannot receive a security code using the phone number listed in our system, you will need to use an authenticator app.
